You Oughta Know About Inexpensive Wipe Boards

Are you a new teacher and need a tip on some inexpensive supplies?  Are you a seasoned teacher   and still would like a type on some inexpensive supplies?   Here is a tip to start the school year.

Hello there! Today I am linking up with Mrs. McClain over at Buzzing with Mrs. McClain for her monthly You Oughta Know blog hop. Other bloggers and I will be sharing things that you “oughta know” for your classroom.

Want individual write and wipe board for your students but hesitate to spend your money that way?  Hard plastic plates from your local dollar store make great Write and Wipe Boards.  I bought mine four in a pack and was able to get a class set for 7 dollars!

I use socks that no longer have a mate as erasers.

Use for a quick formative assessment.  Ask a question and everyone writes and holds up their answer.  Use for writing a prediction or checking for understanding.  Use them for math problems and spelling games.  So many ideas!
